The Magnolia Collection is a quiet love letter to a little girl named Magnolia. Inspired by her gentle spirit and the light she brought into the world, each piece reflects a beauty that lingers beyond time. Her presence lives on in every detail, woven and welded into delicate forms to truly incapsulate her grace and light, carried through moments of remembrance. This collection honors a love that’s infinite, a connection that endures all boundaries, tender and eternal.
Last August, our family lost our granddaughter Magnolia to a rare genetic disease. Grief like this doesn’t fade—it weaves itself into everyday life, changing how you see time, love, and presence. When I returned to designing, it felt important to create with intention, to do something each day that kept Magnolia close and honored her life. Jewelry has always been how I process emotion and express love in a tangible way. Creating these pieces became a way to carry her memory forward—each design shaped by care, patience, and meaning. This collection is not just about adornment, but about remembrance, connection, and the enduring love that continues beyond loss.
In November, we traveled back to Hawaii with our children, and it was there that the feeling I wanted to convey in this collection truly came into focus. The air, the scents, the colors, and the ocean all carried a sense of softness and presence that stayed with me. That environment shaped the spirit of each piece—delicate, feminine, gentle, and timeless.
Every piece in the Magnolia Collection is handmade using thoughtfully sourced pearls, mother of pearl, and gemstones such as tourmaline, aquamarine, ruby, and opal. These elements of the earth feel deeply connected to me and reflect the love we hold in our hearts for Magnolia. Creating with these materials became a way to honor her through beauty, care, and intention.
There is a remarkable local nonprofit called The Foreverest Movement. Each year, they host a 4K run and a polar plunge to raise funds for a family who has experienced the loss of a child. At their most recent event, Magnolia was honored. The love, compassion, and understanding shown by this community was unlike anything I have ever experienced. It left a lasting impact on our family. It is my intention to continue supporting and being involved with this organization moving forward.
A portion of every purchase from the Magnolia Collection will be donated to help support another family each year, continuing a cycle of care, remembrance, and connection. My daughter-in-law who is my daughter in every way that truly matters, beautifully captured the heart of this collection in the words at the top of this post.
