Natural Namibian Chalcedony and Opal Sterling Silver Earrings

Natural Namibian Chalcedony is the star of this pair, with dreamy layers of color, soft translucence, and beautiful little pockets of depth hidden within each stone. They seem to change depending on the light, revealing subtle variations and details that just don’t translate through a camera. They are the kind of stones you really have to see in person to fully appreciate.

Beneath each piece of chalcedony sits a luminous Ethiopian Opal, adding just the right amount of shimmer and unexpected flashes of color. Each opal is cradled inside a hand-formed sterling silver teardrop, giving the earrings a graceful sense of movement while keeping the design beautifully balanced.

What I love most about this pair is the contrast. The chalcedony feels soft and almost ethereal, while the Ethiopian Opals bring that unmistakable little spark of fire. Against the sterling silver, the stones are allowed to be exactly what they should be—the focus.

The finished earrings feel elegant and striking without being overly formal. They are special enough to dress up for an evening out, yet effortless enough to become the pair you reach for simply because you love wearing them.

Every part of these earrings has been made by hand in my studio, from shaping and forming the sterling silver to carefully choosing how each stone would sit within the finished design. Because I work around the individual character of the stones rather than trying to make them conform to a design, the finished piece can never truly be duplicated.
